Musical theatre is a performing art derived from opera and operettas, combining three disciplines: dance, singing, and acting. This style involves a study of musicality, vocal technique, fundamental dance skills, primarily in jazz or tap dance, as well as the dramatic exploration of a character or a story. This course is perfect for adult dancers with experience in singing, dancing, or acting, offering a unique exploration while providing entertainment! The adult musical theatre course also gives participants the opportunity to record voices and be part of the Christmas or annual show. Musical theatre classes are part of the Mini-Sessions program.

Language Policy

All dance classes are conducted in French. Therefore, registered dancers must have a good understanding of French in order to comply with the Association's mandate and speak in French at all times. La Girandole reserves the right to withdraw any dancer who does not meet this criterion adequately.
Policy on Refunds

The Association accepts refund requests for mini-sessions only if the requests are made before the third week of the sessions, with the following fees : 1 week after the start of classes, refund minus 25$ administrative fees; 2 weeks after the start of classes, refund minus 50$ administrative fees; 3 weeks after the start of classes, refund minus 75$ administrative fees.
